Understanding Alzheimer’s and other Dementias

This NEW one-hour interactive program explains the basics of Alzheimer’s and dementia; explores the relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia; examines what happens in a brain affected by Alzheimer’s; details the risk factors for and three general stages of the disease; and identifies FDA-approved treatments available to treat some symptoms.  This program is offered by the Aloha Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association: The Brains Behind Saving Yours.
