Understanding Hawaii’s Long-Term Care System & the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

Learn what long-term care options are available in Hawaii and how to pay for it, identify ‘red flags’ to be aware of, and understand the differences in levels of care. Also, learn about the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman program and how it advocates on the behalf of patients living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Program size is limited to 30. RSVP required.  Call the library by Friday, October 4, 2019  to register. Retirees & caregivers are welcome.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program provides information, outreach, and advocacy for residents of long-term care facilities ensuring they receive equitable access to high quality care.
