Come talk story with USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geologist Katie Mulliken as she hosts a table from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. and 2–4 p.m. at the Pāhala Public and School Library. Do you have questions about the Kīlauea summit eruption, volcanic hazards, how eruptions are monitored, or what it’s like working for a volcano observatory? Katie will be able to answer those questions and more. Come talk story, browse resources, and learn more about the volcanoes in your backyard.
Suitable for all ages.
