Walking Dead Day Zombies!

October 13, 2018 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm

pride and prejudice and zombies

On Saturday, October 13, The Walking Dead will turn 15 years old! While we can’t show The Walking Dead, we will still celebrate by showing a zombie movie. At 10:30 am on Saturday, October 13, Aiea Library will be showing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. This movie is 107 minutes long and is rated PG-13. Here is a description of the story from Movie licensing USA (www.movlic.com): Spunky martial artist Elizabeth Bennet and wealthy zombie killer Mr. Darcy fall in love despite their class differences while battling an undead uprising in 19th-century England.

After the movie, artist Devin Oishi will be available to either facepaint you as a zombie, or draw you as a zombie

The library will also have a photo board to take a picture of yourself as part of a zombie horde, and a real live zombie to photograph with.

While supplies last, attendees will receive a free item from the publisher of The Walking Dead comic books.  See you on Saturday!

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
