We’re the Solution to the Plastic Pollution

April 20, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

project o.c.e.a.n

Plastic pollution in our oceans is a real and growing problem. What is plastic pollution and what is its impact on our ocean and ocean life?

Teen Dyson Chee is passionate about ocean conservation and will share easy steps that you can take to help protect the ocean. He will talk about why plastic straws are being targeted as part of a greater movement to eliminate plastic pollution.

This 45 minute presentation is appropriate for all ages and will include interactive activities.

Program attendees can take a short survey and receive a steel straw at the conclusion of the program (while supplies last).

All programs are subject to change.  If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
