Western Week at Honokaa Library

May 22, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

hay bale, lasso, and cowboy hat

Saddle up for this year’s Western Week event! At 4 pm, join us for Paniolo Storytime, where the youngest cowpokes can enjoy some silly cowboy tales and a good old-fashioned library craft. Then at 5 pm, we’ll welcome the Stable Camp Gang, a crew of local folks from the Dias and DeLuz families who grew up, worked, and played at Paauilo’s Stable Camp. They’ll share some tales of the good ol’ days, and answer questions about what life was like on the ranch and plantation. If you have memories from that time and place, please stop by and share them!

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
