Throughout September, we encourage youngsters to get their very first library card with the help of a responsible adult. Children who obtain their first library card receive special prizes from the children’s librarian. Youngsters may choose their prize (activity books, crayons or free books).  Prizes are available for children up to the sixth grade. Replacement cards do not qualify as first time cards. Children must be able to write their name to acquire their own cards.
