DESCRIPTION:Learn how to reduce textile waste by learning three methods of repairing damaged garments using sashiko stitching! You will create a sampler to practice your stitching that can be finished later as a patch\, coaster\, or pocket. All supplies are provided. \nPrerequisite: participants must know how to thread and knot a needle. Drop by our Reference Desk or call Mililani Public Library at 808-627-7470 to register for the program. \nAnyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication\, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program\, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged\, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change
