DESCRIPTION:This summer\, learn to make a tī leaf lei! \nOur instructor is Bernadette Kamano\, an 18th-generational Kanaka ʻŌiwi of Hawaiʻi. Kamano learned the art of lei making from master lei maker/musician Florence Mockchew. All supplies will be provided. Gardening clothes recommended in case of staining from plant material.  \nSuitable for adults with no prior lei making experience\, this program is limited to 12 participants.
