SUMMARY:Expressive Arts Workshop: My Body is My Home
DESCRIPTION:During this Family Hui Hawaiʻi workshop\, keiki will celebrate all the amazing things their bodies do for them. Families will explore how our bodies help us move through the world\, accomplish incredible things\, and give us important feelings that help keep us safe and cared for. \nFamily Hui Hawaiʻi supports children and caregivers through programs that strengthen family connections and promote social-emotional well-being. Its presenters help families explore creativity through stories\, art\, music\, movement\, and play while building social-emotional skills together. \nDuring this session\, families will also create a mixed-media creature as the accompanying art project. \nThis session is for families with keiki ages 5+. However\, younger siblings are welcome. Please pre-register by visiting the Family Hui Hawaiʻi registration page. \n\n\n\nAnyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication\, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program\, service\, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged but not required. All programs are subject to change.
