DESCRIPTION:Attend a free 90 minute session on computer basics. Participants will learn: \n\nParts of the computer\nKey computer terms\nTypes of software\nSafe computer use\n\nRegistration is required. Sign up at Kapaa Public Library or online on the Basic Computer Skills Classes registration page or call the library at (808) 821-4422. \n\nA partnership of Hawaii State Public Library System and the State of Hawaii’s Department of Labor and Industrial Relations\, Workforce Development Division. Funding provided by a U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration grant. \n\nAnyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication\, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program\, service\, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged\, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
