Workshop will be led by Gustavo Zabarain\, Medicare and financial planning specialist. \nAnyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program\, service\, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Participants will learn: \n\nIntroduction to smartphones (and tablets)\nNavigating key features (calls\, texts\, apps)\nInternet browsing and email\nSecurity best practices for mobile devices\nUsing smartphones and tablets for digital services like banking and telehealth\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their own smartphone or tablet device. \nRegistration is required. Sign up on the Mapunawai registration page or call Laupāhoehoe P/S Library at (808) 962-2229. \n\nA partnership of Hawaii State Public Library System and the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations\, Workforce Development Division. This project is fully funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration in the award amount of $479\,064.
