SUMMARY:Family Movie Night: Solo A Star Wars Story
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Star Wars Day (May the 4th) and Revenge of the 5th\, we invite you to join us for a movie event featuring Solo: A Star Wars Story. Free popcorn will be served with funding provided by Friends of the Libraries\, Kona (F.O.L.K.). Enjoy a Star Wars themed evening and all are encouraged to dress in their favorite Star Wars shirts\, outfits\, and costumes. \nBoard the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far\, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story\, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld\, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian\, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes. \nWe welcome all ages to this event. Help us bind together the collaborative writing and creating collection\, Nā Leo o Kealakekua. Stitch your way into book binding\, learning basic techniques and creating the project for our creators. You will learn the basics of book construction\, and how to bind a small book or journal together using the pamphlet stitch. Special take-home kits for all participants. \nWe welcome ages 11+ to help with this project.
