In state observance of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole Day, most public libraries will be closed on Monday, March 27, 2023.  

Oahu libraries that are normally open on Sundays will be closed to observe the holiday on Sunday, March 26th. The three libraries will be open on Monday, March 27th:

• Kaimuki Public Library 
• Kaneohe Public Library 
• Pearl City Public Library

Libraries that are normally closed on Mondays will observe the holiday and be closed on Tuesday, March 28th. The locations are:

• OAHU | Aiea, Aina Haina, Hawaii Kai, Liliha, McCully-Moiliili, Wahiawa, Waialua, Waikiki-Kapahulu, Waimanalo, & Waipahu
• HAWAII ISLAND | Hilo, Kailua-Kona, & Thelma Parker
• KAUAI | Hanapepe & Princeville
• MAUI | Kihei, Lahaina, & Makawao
