The Honokaa Public Library is temporarily closed to replace the air conditioning system and install electrical upgrades.
The bookdrop will remain locked for the duration of the renovation project. Borrowed items may be returned to any other public library during the closure.

Welcome to the Honokaa Public Library! Our small 3,040-sq. ft. plantation-style building was built in 1936 and opened on June 15, 1937. One treasure in our collection is a photocopy of the original ships’ logs that brought Portuguese immigrants to Hawaii Island. Our library is the only place in the community that rents DVDs!
