The Hawaii State Public Library System provides Bookmobiles to ensure that residents of Hawaii have access to public library materials and services. HSPLS operates two bookmobiles. It’s a fun and effective way to reach those who cannot travel to their public library.
Did you know the Maui Holoholo Bookmobile’s Spring & Summer 2019 Route Schedule includes stops at Community Centers in Haʻikū and Pukalani. The schedule also includes public stops in Kīhei.
See schedule for specific dates and times for each location.
The Bookmobile offers books for all ages, DVDs, audiobooks, storytimes, free Wi-Fi, and assistance with finding information and navigating eResources. Items borrowed on the Bookmobile may be returned to any public library within the Hawaii State Public Library System.
Printed copies of the Holoholo Bookmobile’s new schedule are available at public libraries on Maui. For more information call Wailuku Public Library at (808) 243-5766.

A telescope, funded by the Maui Friends of the Library, will be given away at the event. The Institute for Astronomy will also present a talk about the universe and the National Solar Observatory will have scientific demonstrations. The event is free and open to the public.
