The Hawaii State Public Library System is pleased to offer free Wi-Fi access to cardholders in all 51 library branches.

Library users may access the Wi-Fi in the public service areas of the library during open hours with a valid HSPLS library card.

How do I use it?

1. Find Wi-Fi signal
Each device (tablet, laptop, smart phone, etc…) requires a slightly different process for connecting to Wi-Fi. Please follow the directions required by your device to identify and receive Wi-Fi signals.

2. Locate our network, “HSPLS Public”
Once your device finds our HSPLS Public Wi-Fi network, you will need to enter your library card number and PIN number.

3. Agree to our terms
Next you will need to agree to the HSPLS Internet acceptable use and wireless security disclaimer and use policies. Please be sure to read the policies, which describe appropriate usage in the library, as well as risks and benefits of using the service.

Please note that the Wi-Fi access is ended 15 minutes before the library closes, so be sure to save any work or processes that are online before this time.
