The Hawaiʻi State Public Library System is excited to offer The New York Times Digital Edition. All you need is a library card! Access is slightly different depending on if you are using this resource in the library or remotely. Simply follow the directions below.

If you are IN the library:

Create a new online account

Once you have established an account, you may proceed directly to login on future visits.

If you are OUTSIDE of the library:

Go to The New York Times website

Type in your library card number and PIN.

First time users should register by clicking on the “Create Account” button.

Fill in the required fields.

Receive a NYTimes.com pass that provides 72-hours of free access then click on “Go to NYTimes.com”. Once your pass expires, you may log in to your account and request another 72-hour pass.
