Mango Languages

Mango Languages logoThe Hawaii State Public Library System offers Mango Languages, a learning tool that provides instruction in more than 70 languages, including ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i. Lessons are built around real conversational situations. Try it today!

To get started:

  1. Go to the Mango Languages website and select SIGN UP
  2. Enter your email address, create a password, and click SIGN UP
  3. Since Mango Languages respects your privacy, a data consent form will appear. Click “I AGREE” to accept and continue.
  4. If prompted to subscribe, select SEARCH under ACCESS NEAR YOU. Next, enter ZIP code and select HAWAII STATE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM.
  5. Enter your library card number.
  6. You will see some languages. If you don’t see the language you want to learn, enter a language in the Find a language search bar, or click See All to see all languages. When you find it, click the language you want to learn.

You’re now able to start learning a new language!

If you prefer to use Mango Languages on a mobile device, download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play (for Android). Simply log in with your email address and password.
