Welcome to the Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library! A former storefront library across the street, our current library opened on Aug. 29, 1992. Our two-story building houses some of the library system’s administrative and support office staff. It features beautiful murals of historic Salt Lake and Moanalua during ancient Hawaiian times by renowned local artist Patrick Ching.
As of July 2025, parking is limited due to construction in the library’s parking area.

For families with Keiki – 18-months to 5 years old. This program is suitable for caregivers and their keiki.
Joins us for a musical Parent Café where we make music together and explore how to create homes and communities where emotions are welcome. Just as music gives us space to express joy, calm, or big feelings, our families thrive when we make room for honest conversations about what we feel and why. We’ll reflect on simple ways to help children name their emotions, support one another through stress, and build daily rhythms that make it safe to ask for help. Come enjoy connection, conversation, and music that brings us together.
Please register using link below. Space is limited to 10 families.
