Under the Blood-Red Sun

As part of the events honoring the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the Hawaii State Library is proud to offer a free showing of the film “Under the Blood-Red Sun.”

This locally produced and directed movie adaption of the award-winning Graham Salisbury novel is set in 1941 Hawaii. Based on actual events, “Under the Blood-Red Sun” is an unforgettable story of friendship, courage and survival.

For ages 8+. Please notify the library at least ten (10) days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if other special accommodation is needed.
