OverDrive App is No Longer Available. Make the Switch to Libby!

Libby appThe legacy OverDrive app was discontinued on May 1, 2023. We encourage users to upgrade to the Libby app. Libby is the newer app from OverDrive, with lots of features we know you’ll love. It offers the best reading experience for all ages and provides the same great content in the OverDrive app!

It’s easy to switch to Libby!

  1. Install the Libby app from the app store on your Android or iOS (iPhone/iPad) device.
  2. In Libby, follow the prompts to find your library and sign in with a valid HSPLS library card.
  3. Browse your library’s collection and borrow a title.

ALERT | Hawaii State Public Library System will be performing network maintenance on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. HST to Sunday, December 15th, 5:00 a.m. HST. Access to our online services may be unavailable during this time.

In observance of the Christmas holiday, all public libraries will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Libraries that typically have evening hours on Tuesdays will have adjusted hours on Christmas Eve, December 24th, and will close at 4:00 p.m.
