We are heartbroken for the devastating loss of our Lahaina community on Maui. Our aloha and prayers are with the community now and in the days to come.

Right now, our state is focused on helping our neighbors who have lost so much. If you would like to do something to support Maui, please consider donating to any of the following organizations directly supporting our community. Funding helps them to purchase what is needed at the moment.

• Hawaii Community Foundation – Maui Strong Fund
• Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement – Kākoʻo Maui Fund
• Maui United Way – Maui Fire Disaster Relief

While only the walls of our Lahaina Library are left, our staff are unharmed and standing strong with Maui. Staff from across the statewide system will be here to support our Maui communities in the coming weeks, months and years.
