Desktop OverDrive Users – Change is Coming

If you’re still using the OverDrive desktop app to listen to MP3 audiobooks, there’s a change coming. Beginning November 13, 2024, you’ll need to use one of the following options to listen to audio books:

ALERT | In holiday observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, all public libraries will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

ALERT | In holiday observance of Presidents' Day, all public libraries will be closed from Saturday to Monday, February 14 to 16, 2026.

ALERT | The ʻAiea Public Library parking lot and access stairs from Hakina street will be closed beginning January 17 due to an unforeseen electrical issue. The Library will be open with parking on the street available. We apologize for the inconvenience as we work to resolve the issue.
