The Hawai’i Career Acceleration Navigator (HI CAN) is a user-friendly digital tool that supports Hawai’i jobseekers to identify resilient, lasting careers to support themselves, their families and their communities.
HI CAN provides personalized job recommendations based on a user’s unique skills, work history and employment goals. Jobseekers can sign in using their unemployment account or create a new account through HI CAN. After signing in, users can upload their resume or input information about their work history, education, and skills to start exploring career that have many job openings, leverage their current skills, or are likely to boost their earnings.
Users can apply for jobs and training, and if they are currently collecting unemployment, can track their weekly work search requirements through an interactive dashboard. HI CAN also offers users helpful information on other benefit programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Med-QUEST.
