Hawaiʻi State Public Library System (HSPLS) public libraries and staff offices on each island will be closed for one day during February 4–7, 2025 for staff training. These closures will take place on the following dates:
These one-day professional development workshops will provide valuable training so our staff can better meet our mission, which is to inspire curiosity and provide opportunities for all to read, learn, and connect.
Book drops at all branches will remain open. Check your library’s regular branch hours.
HSPLS appreciates the public’s understanding and support during these critical staff development events.
Although our public libraries will be closed, the HSPLS digital doors are always open on our website. With just a library card you can download e-books, stream movies, learn a language, read The New York Times and more!
