Get Tech Savvy! Two New Digital Literacy Classes Offered at Hawai‘i’s Public Libraries

Smartphone and cloud computingWant to enhance your tech skills? Our libraries are offering two exciting new digital literacy classes!

Smartphone (and Tablet) Basics: Master the essentials of using your mobile device, from downloading and managing apps to staying connected online. Participants are encouraged to bring their own device.

Chromebook & Cloud Computing: Learn how to navigate a Chromebook and use cloud services like Google Drive to easily store, share, and collaborate on documents.

These free 90-minute classes are taught by Mapunawai, Inc. Space is limited, so be sure to register for a class today!

In addition to these new classes, libraries are offering basic computer classes covering topics like:

  • Computer Basics
  • Connecting to and Navigating the Internet
  • Connecting with Family and Friends Using Email
  • Staying Safe Online and Avoiding Scams
