Welcome in the Chinese New Year at Kailua Public Library. Come celebrate 2026, the Year of the Horse, with a lion dance performed by the Gee Yung Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association.

Teens are invited to Kailua Library for a monthly book club featuring young adult reads. Group meets from 5:00-6:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month.

Our February meeting will discuss The Book Thief. This popular YA historical fiction follows a young girl as she discovers the power of words in times of war. Copies are available at the Reference Desk.
