ALERT | Mānoa Public Library will have adjusted public service hours on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. The library will be open from 9 am to 4 pm on both days. The parking lot remains temporarily closed and patrons are asked to find street parking.
Welcome to the Mānoa Public Library! Designed by architect Gary Kawakami of Architecture Plus, Inc., and built by Allied Pacific Builders on the site of the original library, our $10.3 million replacement library opened on June 9, 2012. Our environmentally-friendly library features free Wi-Fi, computer laptop area, separate programming room, photovoltaic solar panels, high-efficiency air-conditioning system, and covered parking for cars and bicycles. In 2013, Mānoa Public Library was awarded the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.

Please join illustrator Sarita Rich in celebrating the release of Something Sweet: A Sitting Shiva Story, a touching book that handles themes of processing grief, experiencing another culture, and learning how to be a good friend–and does so with tender care. Program will feature a book reading and crafts, for ages 5 and up.
