Join us in hearing stories from a volunteer reader with Ohana 100, DKAFF. As a part of Ohana 100, DKAFF’s commitment to early literacy and education. Visit the library 4 times (you will receive a punch card) and you will be eligible to receive a free book from DKAFF! This program is suitable for children aged 0-5.

Happy Year of the Fire Horse!

Come play with clay as you create your own ceramic horse for the new year. Participants will learn about Haniwa horse artifacts and sculpt their own creative pieces.

Recommended for children ages 9-13.
Spots are limited.

Materials will be provided.

Storytimes for preschool age children feature themed stories, rhymes, and songs. Most storytimes will be followed by a simple activity. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Bring your small clothing items in need of simple repair to our free mending clinic!

Need to sew on a button, patch a puka, or fix a hem? Our volunteers will help you repair your clothes or small fabric items.
