Kanopy Updates | Tickets Begin November 1, 2023

Starting November 1, 2023, Kanopy will be switching from play credits to tickets.
From the title’s details page, you will be able to easily see how many tickets are required and how long you’ll have to watch it before pressing play.

What you need to know

  • You will receive 9 tickets at the beginning of each month.
  • Unused tickets are not carried over to the next month.
  • The Great Courses requires tickets. Users can watch as many Great Courses as their ticket allotment allows each month.
  • Kanopy Kids has unlimited viewing and does not require tickets.
  • For episodic titles, like TV series and The Great Courses, users can see what content the tickets unlock (e.g., “Season 1” or “all.“ ) Users have access to a Continue Watching shelf so they can pick up where they left off and see how much time is remaining.
