World War I brought significant social and economic changes to the U.S. and Hawai’i. Join us as we explore the impact of “The Great War” on foreign policy, free speech, gender, & race relations.

The speakers for the evening are:
Bob Buss–Executive Director, Hawai’i Council for the Humanities
Anita Manning–Associate Research Affiliate, Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, & Chair, History Committee, Hawai’i WWI Centennial Task Force
Cynthia Smith–Professor of History at Honolulu Community College
