About

Welcome to the Pearl City Public Library! One of the largest libraries on Oʻahu, our library opened on Nov. 15, 1969 as Pearl City Regional Library. We are one of three Oahu libraries open on Sundays and located next to the Pearl City Police Station.

Join us every first Wednesday of the month to get your babies moving and grooving with this interactive storytime designed for you and your baby! Bring a blanket and your baby, and we’ll provide the stories, songs, and more.

Storytime to last around 20-30 minutes with a free play at the end.

Recommended for ages 0-24 months.

Join us every Thursday morning for an hour of themed stories, songs, rhymes, and so much more! Storytime lasts around 30 minutes with a fun craft to follow that keiki are sure to love!

'Ohe Kapala

Ohe Kapala is traditionally carved out of bamboo for kapa and clothing.  We will be using carved out rubber stamps to decorate a greeting card and bookmarks.  You don’t need to sign up for both parts.

alarconohana

Anyone can help save a life.

 

The Alarcon Ohana will teach you the three simple steps to performing hands-only CPR.  This act has been shown to be just as effective as CPR with mouth-to-mouth breathing. This class will give you the information and skills needed to confidently help others during breathing or cardiac emergencies.

Musical notation

The Drama Club of Pearl Highlands Intermediate School will be performing a music extravaganza featuring a story and song about Hawaiian night marchers, as well as different songs from popular musicals like Matilda and Epic! the musical.
