About

Welcome to the Hawaiʻi Kai Public Library! Designed by architect Harold T. Kurisu, our library opened on Dec. 1, 1973. For nearly 30 years, Hawaiʻi Kai Lions and Nagoya Lions provide unique support – monetary donations and cultural artifacts from Japan. On Aug. 22, 2013, the Friends of Hawaiʻi Kai Public Library opened the new Hawaiʻi Kai community book store.
