November 2025 was the last online book club meeting for the Waianae Book Club. Join Wai‘anae Public Library for a fun-filled Kalo Storytime! Keiki and their ‘ohana are invited to enjoy stories, songs, dancing, and crafts all about kalo, one of Hawai‘i’s most important plants and cultural foods. After storytime, stay for a special taro chip tasting!

This storytime is aimed at ages 3–5, but all ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Join Wai‘anae Public Library for a fun-filled Kitchen Playdate for Toddlers (Tuesdays, June 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 14, 21, 28) in the Children’s Section!
