In celebration of the rich history and traditions of the Pacific Islands, join local author & poet Innocenta Sound-Kikku as she reads and discusses her books. Books to be read include her newest children’s book “Mwa Machang” (“Hey Birdy” in Chuukese) and select poems from her book “Silent Warriors”. These books are a part of the Kōkua Kalihi Valley’s Echoes of Oceania project. Best for ages 4 – 12; all ages welcome.
