Join us for Tai Chi – a form of martial arts and low impact exercise for Older Adults 50+, every 4th Wednesday.

Medical clearance by a physician is recommended. Wear comfortable clothing and covered-toe shoes. Bring bottled water or water in reusable drinkware.

About the instructor: Ron Ishimaru is certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. He teaches Sun style Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, an evidenced-based exercise program endorsed by the CDC and the Hawaii Department of Health EMS and Injury Prevention System Branch.

Mahalo to the Friends of Pearl City Library for sponsoring this 45-minute exercise program.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
