West With Giraffes  by Lynda Ruthledge

An emotional, rousing novel inspired by the incredible true story of two giraffes who made headlines and won the hearts of Depression-era America.

The Waianae Public Library Book Club reads a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles selected yearly by the members.  We meet on the 3rd Wednesdays online via Zoom at 6:00pm- 7:30pm.  If you are interested in joining, please contact Sheryl Lynch at the library 808-697-7868 or email
