Children’s Summer Reading Craft: Pueo Hawaiian Owl Craft

June 22, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 pm

Owl Craft

The Pueo or Hawaiian Short-eared owl calls Hawaii its home. This summer, you can make your own special Pueo with a craft using simple supplies. Partipants use markers to color cardboard and weave yarn to create their owls. Owls can be embellished with googly eyes and yarn for the wings. We invite you to come join us to make your very own Pueo. All supplies will be provided. Suitable for children ages 5 and up.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.See a schedule of upcoming events at librarieshawaii.org/events.
