Food to Grow

Join the UH-SNAP education team to learn about the full range of SNAP benefits available to you. Each family attending will learn how to make a pot out of newspaper to plant bok choy seeds, as well as transplant a bok choy seedling. The team is eager to help people start their own produce gardens to get fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs growing right at home!

This event is limited to 20 households. Please stop by the reference desk or call the library at 808-587-7577 to reserve your spot!

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
