Get to Know How Your Body Works

December 16, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

anatomy organ model

The more you know about how the human body works, the easier it will be for you to keep it working smoothly! Trillions of cells make up the complex organ system of our bodies. These working parts communicate with each other and with the outside world, so your body is a master at responding to changes from inside and outside its boundaries. Choosing some things that trigger the body to respond. Chris Kornet will share general information about the human body and will explore the question, “How, exactly, does it do that?” in understandable terms.

Ms. Kornet has taught anatomy and physiology courses at the University of Hawaii-Hilo.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change.
