Holidays of the Hawaiian Kingdom with Boyd Bond

November 27, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Boyd Bond

In honor of Lā Kūʻokoʻa, Hawaiian Independence Day, we’ll be hosting a talk by Boyd Bond of North Kohala on the subject of Hawaiian Kingdom holidays. Boyd is a knowledgeable storyteller who’s sure to entertain as we delve into the history of the Hawaiian Kingdom, and learn about what people were celebrating and why. Please join us for this special evening!

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
