Get in the spooky spirit and listen to obake and other ghostly tales from Japan, Hawaii, and around the world as told by storyteller and actor Dann Seki. He is a stage and screen actor who has performed statewide at various public libraries, senior centers, and storytelling festivals. This one-hour program is suitable for ages 5 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, Meadow Gold Dairies, Hawaiian Electric Companies, HMS Host, Hansen Distribution Group, Roberts Hawaii, Mitsunaga & Associates, Aloha United Way, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.
