Origami crane folding

Please join the staff as they demonstrate some origami basics.  Leave with a new set of skills and an assortment of cool take-home projects. All materials will be provided.

Origami is the Japanese word for paper folding. ORI means to fold and KAMI means paper. Together, they form the word “origami.” It is an art form that has been handed down from parent to child through many generations. Origami involves the creation of paper forms usually entirely by folding.

Program schedule is subject to change.  Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
