The Assets School Robotics team, Team Waffles, invites you to come and explore robotics in action! Through the FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics program, they will show you the inner workings of robotics. During this program, you will get to drive competition robots and get a taste of what a real robotics game is like.

This Robotics Expo is suitable for all ages, adults & children! However, if you are a student aged 12 to 18 that is interested in joining a Robotics Team locally, you are especially welcome!

The Assets Robotics Team Waffles was established in 2018 by a handful of motivated students who shared a common mission: to provide a better future and community. This is a student-run robotics team that actively extends their reach into the local, national, and worldwide STEM communities. To the students, it’s not just about building robots, it’s about passing on knowledge and opportunities to the members in their community.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
