Sasha Lee Guest Author Reading & Keiki Activity

April 2, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join author Sasha Lee for a guest reading event of her children’s book, The Hanapēpē Hero. She will also have activities for the keiki that attend.

Set in the small Hawaiian town of Hanapēpē, a young boy, Ron, worries that he isn’t skilled enough to find the perfect gift for his mother’s birthday. However, his thoughtfulness leads him to set out on a journey and his discoveries will serve as a gift to the entire town.

This event will appeal to families with 2-7 year olds.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change. See a schedule of upcoming events at librarieshawaii.org/events
