February 22, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

book club with title and pilot goggles

The Waianae Public Library Book Club reads a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles selected yearly by the members. In 2023 we will be adding another book club meeting. We will host 2 book clubs, one on Zoom on the 3rd Wednesday and our in-person meeting on the 4th Wednesday.  You are welcome to attend either meeting, or if you love the book, come to both!

Meet: 4TH Wednesdays in-person at the library

Time: 6:00 pm-7:30 pm

If you are interested in joining, please contact Sheryl Lynch at the library 808-697-7868 or email

Our February 22nd book is: West with the Night by Beryl Markham

Markham, often described as “the first person” to fly the Atlantic east to west in a solo non-stop flight, chronicles her many adventures in her memoir. From Amazon: Beryl Markham’s West with the Night is a true classic, a book that deserves the same acclaim and readership as the work of her contemporaries Ernest Hemingway, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, and Isak Dinesen.
