April’s Book Club pick is To The Moon And Back by Eliana Ramage. This stirring coming-of-age novel is the tale of a young woman determined to become the first Cherokee astronaut. Feeling crafty? Come create a calming glitter jar! It’s a fun way to help keiki (or adults) learn to relax, by watching the glitter go peacefully drifting down in the water. We have lots of colors to choose from! All ages welcome.

Are you curious about zines? Zines (short for magazines) are DIY publications that anyone can create. They’re a fun way to share your creative ideas with the world, and are easy to reproduce for distribution using our library copier (copying costs will be covered during the event). Work on your ideas, bring a favorite zine to share, and browse our zine collection for inspiration. All supplies (collage materials, paper, pens/pencils) will be provided, but feel free to bring in your own if you like. This event is geared towards teens and adults.
