Celebrate the Holidays with the Sensational Sounds of Skylark

December 16, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

A group of musicians holding wooden recorders and a 'ukelele. A juggler is juggling in front of them.

Relax from the hustle and bustle of the holidays with the beautiful and soothing musical sounds of Skylark, a recorder and ‘ukulele ensemble. Skylark started in 1988. This group has performed at various events and locations around Honolulu, including First Fridays at Hawaii State Art Museum (HISAM), Saint Francis Hospice, Saint Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Waimanalo, Harris Methodist, Hawaii Handweavers’ Hui, and Foster Garden for 12+ years.  Skylark will perform holiday classics through the ages, including childhood favorites such as “Frosty the Snowman”.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
