This free program encourages you to read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters Kindergarten. One of the best ways to encourage learning is to spend time sharing books every day. Reading together helps develop important pre-reading skills that provide a solid reading foundation – a key to school and learning success. Plus, sharing stories together is fun!

Stop by Ewa Beach Library to enroll and pick up your reading log. Return to the branch after each hundred books read for a sticker and your next recording sheet.

Come celebrate the joy and wonder of the holiday season with Karol’s Karolers. This concert will include beloved Christmas classics as well as many lesser-known holiday songs from around the world.

Karol’s Karolers was founded in October 2012 by Karol Nowicki, Michal Nowicki, and David Del Rocco with the goal of spreading good cheer with local residents and holiday music from other countries. This program is suitable for all ages.

Make an adorable paper reindeer just in time for Christmas! Materials will be supplied. Limit one reindeer per person while supplies last.

The Ewa Beach Public & School Library is joining forces with K9 TheraPets to bring you “Read to Therapy Dogs.” This program is designed to give a child a chance to enjoy reading aloud with no pressure and no judgment.
